About the Role
Join our nuclear engineering team as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and Project/Program Manager. In this role, you will oversee project execution for modifications to new and existing nuclear power plant systems, coordinating engineering, design, controls, and scheduling professionals across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead project execution by coordinating resources across multiple engineering disciplines
- Own overall project performance, including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience from start to finish
- Direct and mentor project team members to ensure clear accountability and strong delivery
- Build and maintain productive relationships with client task engineers and key stakeholders
- Drive efforts to complete projects safely, successfully, and on time
Requirements
- Experience leading mechanical engineering efforts on complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage project performance across safety, schedule, and budget
- Strong coordination skills working with internal and external teams
- Ability to mentor and coach engineers and support staff
- Knowledge of nuclear power plant modification work (preferred)
