About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for a Lighting Engineer Specialist to help design and refine vehicle lighting systems that support both safety and brand experience. You’ll join a team focused on electrification, digitization, and practical innovation for real-world driving—whether in the city or on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Own and advance lighting engineering workstreams across design, validation, and integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate vehicle requirements into lighting solutions
- Support development activities including testing, troubleshooting, and design iteration
- Contribute to documentation and engineering deliverables throughout the product lifecycle
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure lighting performance meets specifications
Requirements
- Experience in automotive lighting engineering or related vehicle electrical systems
- Strong understanding of lighting components, requirements, and validation practices
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
- Comfort with engineering documentation and structured problem-solving
