About the Role
CompTech is looking for a Linux Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This position is remote and requires a Secret security clearance to support mission-critical IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux systems supporting enterprise and mission environments
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure reliable service delivery
- Apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with security and operational requirements
- Troubleshoot incidents and resolve issues across servers, services, and related infrastructure
- Support documentation and maintain accurate system records
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain/maintain as required)
- Hands-on experience administering Linux operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for system, service, and connectivity issues
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
