About the Role
Join Microsoft’s Devices Fulfillment and Logistics (F&L) team and help optimize the distribution network. As a Logistics Manager for Outbound operations, you’ll own outbound freight execution across North America, LATAM, and Canada, ensuring shipments move compliantly, cost-effectively, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Manage outbound logistics activities, including freight planning and execution across assigned regions
- Own customs compliance and support trade requirements for cross-border shipments
- Drive cost control through carrier/3PL coordination, process improvements, and performance management
- Monitor service performance and lead logistics escalations to resolve delivery-impacting issues
- Partner with Trade, Finance, Supply Planning, and external transportation providers to support product builds, launches, and replenishment flows
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure shipments are accurate, compliant, and delivered according to agreed timelines
Requirements
- Experience managing outbound freight and logistics operations (including cross-border shipments)
- Knowledge of customs compliance and trade-related logistics requirements
- Strong cost management and service performance focus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and third-party logistics providers
- Experience handling operational escalations and driving timely resolution
