Manager, Vulnerability Management (Cybersecurity) | Hybrid

About the Role

Vanguard is seeking a strategic cybersecurity leader to manage Vulnerability Management across a hybrid, multi-cloud environment. You’ll lead a high-performing team focused on reducing attack surface by improving how vulnerabilities are discovered, prioritized, and remediated—while enabling security guardrails that scale with the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of vulnerability management practices using continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) and hyper-prioritization
• Manage and coach a vulnerability management team to deliver measurable risk reduction
• Drive AI-enabled automation to improve efficiency and consistency in vulnerability triage and remediation workflows
• Partner with engineering and security stakeholders to implement scalable security guardrails
• Translate security risk into clear priorities that minimize friction for technology teams

Requirements

• Proven experience leading vulnerability management or related security risk programs in complex environments
• Strong understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure and how vulnerabilities impact enterprise risk
• Experience leveraging automation and data-driven approaches for vulnerability triage and prioritization
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate risk and progress effectively
