About the Role
We’re seeking a Master Control Operator to help ensure flawless broadcast playout across a large multi-channel environment. You’ll manage on-air playlists, execute programming and commercial changes, and support both live events and contingency workflows using modern automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and adjust on-air playlists, executing program, commercial, and marketing updates with precision
- Support live-event workflows and contingency procedures to keep broadcasts on track
- Own commercial integration and ensure reliable rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming
- Monitor and maintain 150+ channel streams, staying alert to inconsistencies and availability issues
- Verify readiness of all assets prior to playout to maintain uninterrupted programming continuity
- Serve as the final point of support for internal clients and stations by quickly addressing on-air discrepancies
Requirements
- Experience operating in a broadcast or playout environment (Master Control or similar role)
- Comfort working with broadcast automation and workflow tools (e.g., SNELL Morpheus, Amagi)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly under time-sensitive conditions
- Ability to monitor multiple streams and maintain accuracy during live and scheduled programming
