About the Role
We’re seeking a Materials Compliance Analyst to coordinate the collection and validation of substance and material composition data for purchased parts used across automotive and non-automotive product lines. This role supports regulatory and customer requirements across the U.S. and Europe, including REACH, RoHS, POPs, Prop 65, PFAS, IMDS, and FMD.
Responsibilities
- Gather, review, and validate material composition and chemical compliance documentation for incoming materials and components
- Evaluate compliance for both new and existing products, ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory and customer standards
- Assess the impact of emerging regulations on current product lines and recommend next steps
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to obtain accurate data and resolve gaps
- Maintain organized compliance records and support audit-ready documentation
Requirements
- Experience in materials/substance compliance (not IT compliance)
- Working knowledge of chemical and materials regulations such as REACH, RoHS, POPs, Prop 65, PFAS, IMDS, and/or FMD
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate technical documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to drive timely data completion
