About the Role

We’re seeking a Materials Compliance Analyst to coordinate the collection and validation of substance and material composition data for purchased parts used across automotive and non-automotive product lines. This role supports regulatory and customer requirements across the U.S. and Europe, including REACH, RoHS, POPs, Prop 65, PFAS, IMDS, and FMD.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, review, and validate material composition and chemical compliance documentation for incoming materials and components
  • Evaluate compliance for both new and existing products, ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory and customer standards
  • Assess the impact of emerging regulations on current product lines and recommend next steps
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to obtain accurate data and resolve gaps
  • Maintain organized compliance records and support audit-ready documentation

Requirements

  • Experience in materials/substance compliance (not IT compliance)
  • Working knowledge of chemical and materials regulations such as REACH, RoHS, POPs, Prop 65, PFAS, IMDS, and/or FMD
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate technical documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to drive timely data completion
