About the Role
Redwood Materials is building a new engineering team to support our Battery Energy Storage System product line. As a Service Engineer, you’ll help resolve complex technical issues across deployed energy storage systems and ensure high reliability in the field.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues across deployed Battery Energy Storage Systems
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Support field troubleshooting activities, including data collection and issue documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce repeat incidents and improve system performance
Requirements
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with experience supporting complex systems
- Understanding of energy storage systems and related electrical/mechanical components
- Ability to analyze technical data and communicate findings clearly
- Willingness to support field work as needed for deployed systems
