About the Role
We’re hiring a Mechanical Equipment Design Engineer to design and improve heavy mechanical equipment used for lifting, maintenance, and emergency response applications. In this direct-hire role, you’ll guide projects from early concept through engineering, manufacturing support, testing, field deployment, and continuous improvement.
This position is a great fit for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Design new mechanical equipment and enhance existing systems for real-world operating conditions
- Support the full product lifecycle, including concept development, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and field implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve performance
- Contribute to ongoing design refinements based on feedback from testing and field use
- Assist with documentation and engineering support throughout project execution
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical design engineering for heavy equipment or industrial machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through hands-on engineering challenges
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting projects through testing and implementation
Benefits

- Starting salary from $95,000/year (higher compensation available based on experience)
- 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
