Join The Nuclear Company as a Mechanical Sales Engineer supporting nuclear and energy services. In this role, you’ll help identify and grow opportunities that strengthen America’s nuclear fleet, leveraging a design-once, build-many approach and deep operational expertise.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and expand sales opportunities within the nuclear services market
- Build and maintain relationships with utilities, engineering teams, and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical and operations leaders to shape proposals and solution strategies
- Support bid preparation by translating customer needs into mechanical and service-focused requirements
- Track pipeline activity, forecast outcomes, and maintain accurate sales documentation
Requirements
- Background in mechanical engineering and/or mechanical systems
- Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical value to non-technical audiences
- Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and service teams
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events
