About the Role

Join The Nuclear Company as a Mechanical Sales Engineer supporting nuclear and energy services. In this role, you’ll help identify and grow opportunities that strengthen America’s nuclear fleet, leveraging a design-once, build-many approach and deep operational expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and expand sales opportunities within the nuclear services market
  • Build and maintain relationships with utilities, engineering teams, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technical and operations leaders to shape proposals and solution strategies
  • Support bid preparation by translating customer needs into mechanical and service-focused requirements
  • Track pipeline activity, forecast outcomes, and maintain accurate sales documentation

Requirements

  • Background in mechanical engineering and/or mechanical systems
  • Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical value to non-technical audiences
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and service teams
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events
