About the Role
Synapticure is a specialty care clinic focused on neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS. We support patients and caregivers with a virtual care model that combines education, coordination, and access to expert multidisciplinary providers.
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll help ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations and support the care team as patients move through their personalized guided journey.
Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians with routine patient intake and documentation in a virtual care workflow
- Coordinate and support scheduled appointments and patient follow-ups
- Collect, verify, and organize patient information to keep records accurate
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical process
- Support care coordinators and providers by flagging patient needs and updates
Requirements
- Experience working in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant (or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with patient information
- Excellent communication skills with patients, caregivers, and the care team
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn clinical tools quickly
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA-aligned practices
