About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a part-time Language Arts Instructor and help elementary students build strong reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll lead small groups using our company-created curriculum in a supportive, engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach language arts lessons using AoPS Academy curriculum and materials for advanced learners
- Actively engage students through collaborative, student-involved learning
- Manage classroom instruction effectively for groups of up to 16 students
- Review and provide feedback on assessments, tests, and assignments
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support academic growth
- Encourage curiosity and a love of learning through thoughtful instruction
Requirements
- Experience teaching elementary students or equivalent instructional experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with families
- Comfort managing small groups and supporting active learning
- Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback on student work
