About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a part-time Elementary Math Instructor. If you enjoy teaching math in a supportive, interactive environment, you’ll help students build strong foundations while staying engaged through student-led learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach using AoPS Academy’s company-created curriculum and materials for advanced learners
- Lead small-group math classes and encourage active participation
- Support student-led learning and keep students engaged throughout each session
- Manage classroom activities for groups of up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide meaningful feedback to help students improve
- Build positive relationships with students and families to support long-term growth
- Promote critical thinking and a genuine love of learning
Requirements
- Experience teaching elementary math or working with elementary students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to deliver engaging lessons and support student-led participation
- Comfort providing grades and constructive feedback
