About the Role
Join the Logistics Support Center at NAVSUP FLC SD GF as a General Supply Specialist. In this onsite role, you’ll support ships and units homeported locally as well as visiting units by providing essential supply and logistics assistance to help maintain readiness.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct supply, logistics, and husbanding support for ships and units
- Perform general supply specialist duties and resolve supply and logistics issues
- Use your expertise to assess logistics infrastructure and support operational readiness
- Review plans, work, and deployment schedules to anticipate challenges and prevent disruptions
- Provide training and other support as needed to sustain effective logistics operations
Requirements
- Experience supporting logistics, supply operations, or related military/ship support functions
- Strong judgment skills to evaluate logistics infrastructure impacts
- Ability to analyze schedules and plans to identify potential issues early
- Knowledge of logistics support processes and readiness-focused operations
