About the Role
General Atlantic is seeking a Social Media Associate to support and grow the firm’s social media presence. You’ll help build a cohesive strategy that increases brand visibility, strengthens audience engagement, and supports broader marketing and communications goals.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of social media content, from planning through publishing
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and business partners to translate firm insights and stories into platform-native posts
- Manage workflows, calendars, and execution details to keep campaigns on track
- Monitor performance and measurement to inform ongoing optimization
- Contribute creative ideas, writing, and support the development of high-quality visual and editorial content
- Identify proactive content opportunities and respond to real-time cultural and business moments
Requirements
- Strong interest in social media storytelling and digital content marketing
- Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing and communications stakeholders
- Operational rigor with the ability to manage calendars, deadlines, and content workflows
- Basic understanding of social media performance metrics and how to use them to improve results
- Excellent writing skills with a clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate voice
