About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse (Occupational Health) at the GS-13 level to serve as the Occupational Health Nurse Administrator for the Bureau of Reclamation. Based in Denver, Colorado, this role reports to the SOH Chief and leads the Reclamation Occupational Health Program and medical standards administration.
Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and control the Reclamation Occupational Health Program, including administration of medical standards.
- Analyze and interpret medical surveillance results and recommend appropriate next steps.
- Plan, mitigate, and resolve hazard exposure and medical monitoring issues in coordination with the Reclamation Industrial Hygiene Program.
- Partner with industrial hygiene and safety teams to reduce known and potential impacts to human health.
- Advise, guide, and coordinate actions for supporting resources, training, and management education.
Requirements
- Experience in occupational health nursing and/or clinical occupational health program administration.
- Strong ability to interpret medical surveillance findings and translate results into actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of hazard exposure considerations and medical monitoring processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to educate and support management and cross-functional teams.
