About the Role
The Atlanta Gladiators are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Off-Season Video Editor Intern to help bring past seasons to life. This internship is a great way to build a sports-focused editing portfolio while gaining hands-on experience creating content for a professional sports organization.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X
- Repurpose existing game footage into engaging offseason content
- Create videos for the team website, email marketing, game operations, and promotional campaigns
- Support larger creative projects like season recaps, hype videos, ticket campaigns, and special initiatives
- Organize, label, and manage video assets for efficient production
- Monitor social media trends and suggest ways to adapt them using available footage
- Collaborate with internal teams on creative ideas and content planning
- Deliver projects on time while following Atlanta Gladiators brand standards
Requirements
- Experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of short-form social content and current digital trends
- Ability to craft compelling stories through editing, pacing, music, and graphics
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment
- Interest in sports, hockey, or live event entertainment (preferred)
