Operations Excellence Manager (Engineering & Continuous Improvement) - Hybrid

About the Role

Americold is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager to support our facilities with engineering and project leadership. In this role, you’ll help improve labor productivity and strengthen inventory control by building engineered labor standards, supporting incentive programs, and sustaining continuous improvement efforts across assigned sites.

Responsibilities

• Use site dashboards to track labor, inventory, and service performance; spot trends and issues and drive corrective actions.
• Lead productivity, process enhancement, and inventory control initiatives through structured continuous improvement projects.
• Develop, validate, and maintain time-studied performance standards to support consistent execution.
• Calculate and implement performance incentive approaches aligned to operational goals.
• Support change management to ensure improvements are adopted, sustained, and measured over time.

Requirements

• Experience in operations excellence, continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or related performance management work.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational metrics and translate them into action.
• Background developing labor standards and/or incentive frameworks (time studies preferred).
• Proven ability to drive corrective actions across multiple locations or sites.
• Comfort partnering cross-functionally to implement and sustain process changes.
