About the Role
AoPS Academy is hiring a part-time Language Arts Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you enjoy helping students build strong reading, writing, and communication skills in a collaborative classroom, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Teach language arts using company-created curriculum and materials for advanced students
- Lead small classes and encourage student-led learning throughout each session
- Manage classroom instruction effectively with up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support long-term success
Requirements
- Experience teaching language arts or related subjects
- Strong classroom management skills
- Comfort working with advanced learners and student-centered instruction
- Ability to provide timely, helpful feedback on student work
