About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a Part-Time Language Arts Instructor and help students build strong reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll teach using our company-created curriculum in a supportive, engaging classroom environment designed for advanced learners.
Responsibilities
- Lead small-group language arts classes using company materials and curriculum
- Keep students actively involved through interactive, student-centered learning
- Manage classroom routines and support a positive learning environment for up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and assignments, and provide constructive feedback
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support ongoing growth
- Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a lasting love of learning
Requirements
- Experience teaching language arts or related subjects
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to provide clear, helpful feedback on student work
- Comfort working with advanced learners in a collaborative setting
