About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a part-time Math Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you’re passionate about math and enjoy helping students learn through collaboration, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Teach using company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced learners
- Lead small classes and encourage student-led learning during each session
- Manage classroom activities effectively for up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student growth
- Build strong relationships with students and families to positively impact their educational journey
Requirements
- Experience teaching math to students in a classroom setting (or equivalent tutoring experience)
- Strong ability to engage learners and foster curiosity in math
- Comfort managing small-group instruction and classroom routines
