About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a part-time Math Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you’re passionate about helping students grow through challenging, engaging math, you’ll thrive in a collaborative classroom environment built around strong learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Teach small groups using company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced learners
- Actively engage students through interactive, student-centered learning approaches
- Manage classroom instruction effectively with up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback on tests
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families to support long-term success
Requirements
- Experience teaching math or working with students in an instructional setting
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to facilitate active learning
- Comfort grading student work and communicating feedback clearly
- Commitment to inspiring and supporting students through academic growth
