About the Role
Language Services Associates (LSA) is seeking qualified Pashto interpreters for assignments in the Dulles, VA area. As an independently contracted interpreter, you’ll help bridge communication for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals across a variety of professional settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service during interpretation assignments
- Follow LSA’s Code of Professional Conduct, including strict confidentiality standards
- Adhere to company policies and professional interpretation protocols
- Meet client-requested clearance and documentation requirements
- Report to assigned locations on time for scheduled engagements
Requirements
- Fluency in Pashto and English
- Experience or demonstrated ability to interpret professionally
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional conduct
- Ability to comply with client clearance requirements when applicable
