About the Role

We’re seeking a Payroll Business Analyst to help ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations. In this contract role, you’ll analyze payroll data, investigate discrepancies, support system testing, and partner across Payroll, HR, Accounting, IT, and other teams to drive continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze payroll workflows and data to identify opportunities that streamline processes and remove redundant, non-value-added work
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Payroll, HR, Accounting, and IT) to implement process improvements and resolve payroll-related issues
  • Support payroll system testing by validating requirements, reviewing results, and helping ensure accurate outcomes
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with strong attention to detail
  • Independently manage priorities and track progress on assigned initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with payroll data
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and compliance considerations
  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage priorities independently
  • Comfort supporting testing and validation activities in a systems environment
