About the Role
AIP Publishing is seeking a Manager to lead initiatives that strengthen peer review quality and consistency across our scholarly publishing programs. In this role, you’ll help advance our mission to accelerate scientific discovery by improving how research is evaluated and shared with the global community.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvements to peer review processes, guidelines, and quality standards
- Coordinate with internal teams to support efficient, fair, and high-impact review workflows
- Analyze review performance and recommend actions to improve outcomes for authors, reviewers, and editors
- Support training, documentation, and best practices that help teams deliver consistent quality
- Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at strengthening scholarly communication
Requirements
- Experience managing or improving editorial or review-related processes in a publishing, research, or quality setting
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into practical improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort working with diverse teams and collaborating across functions
- A customer- and quality-focused mindset
