About the Role
As a Per Diem Dietitian at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, you will provide clinical nutrition services across patient care areas. Your work will help ensure patients receive evidence-based nutritional care and education while meeting The Joint Commission standards and applicable state and federal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutrition status using biochemical, anthropometric, physical, and dietary information
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or their families
- Support quality assurance by monitoring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines
- Develop and participate in educational sessions to promote nutrition-related best practices
Requirements
- Current CNSC credential (required for this role)
- Experience providing clinical nutrition services in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices and standards of care
