About the Role
Join AECOM’s Resources and Industrial team and build hands-on experience across industrial, mining, water, and local government projects. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers in a collaborative consulting environment—supporting work from early concept through to project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical design activities and the preparation of technical documentation for infrastructure and industrial projects.
- Support studies and project work related to new-build, upgrades, and refurbishments for process, water, wastewater, and industrial assets.
- Contribute to engineering deliverables while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program (or closely related field).
- Strong interest in industrial, mining, and water-related engineering challenges.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design concepts and technical documentation.
