About the Role
PhysicsX is a deep-tech company building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing. We help teams across the engineering lifecycle achieve high-fidelity, multi-physics simulation using AI inference—unlocking stronger optimization and automation from design through operations.
We’re looking for a Principal Business Development Strategist with deep Aerospace & Defense domain experience. You’ll be able to engage credibly with senior technical leaders and drive growth by identifying and converting high-value opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development strategy for Aerospace & Defense, from target identification through deal execution
- Build relationships with chief engineers, VPs, and other technical and executive stakeholders
- Partner with engineering and product teams to align customer needs with PhysicsX capabilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities, including forecasting and account planning
- Support proposals, pilots, and commercial discussions to accelerate adoption
Requirements
- Career experience in Aerospace & Defense through engineering programs, advanced development, technical consulting, or similar roles
- Ability to hold substantive technical conversations with senior engineering and leadership stakeholders
- Strong strategic and consultative approach to business development
- Comfort working with complex technical products and translating value into business outcomes
