About the Role
d-Matrix is looking for a Principal Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Software Qualification team. In this senior role, you’ll help productize the d-Matrix AI compute engine by setting technical direction and leading testing strategy across complex systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive QA/SDET technical direction for product qualification efforts
- Own end-to-end test planning, automation strategy, and quality gates for AI compute features
- Design and implement robust automated test frameworks and tooling
- Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, observability, and release readiness
- Lead technical execution and mentor team members on quality engineering best practices
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing and test automation (SDET or QA engineering)
- Proven ability to build and scale test frameworks for complex software systems
- Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines and quality reporting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a bias toward execution
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a culture built on respect, humility, and direct communication
