About the Role
Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN, as-needed coverage in a skilled nursing facility in Trenton. This role focuses on meaningful, one-on-one patient care with flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the occupational therapy team in delivering patient-centered therapy services
- Provide hands-on support to patients during treatment sessions
- Support care plans and help maintain continuity of therapy services in the skilled nursing setting
- Follow clinical and documentation expectations in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience or comfort working in skilled nursing or long-term care environments
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible PRN shifts as scheduled
