About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Architect specializing in Cloud Infrastructure to help design and implement scalable software architecture for commercial products. In this role, you’ll lead major architectural changes, create new system designs for product components, and act as a trusted technical advisor on initiatives that shape long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software applications and services
- Specify and implement significant changes to existing software architecture
- Design new architecture for a moderate-sized product or a major product segment
- Build and execute unit tests, including unit test plans
- Review integration and regression test plans prepared by QA to ensure coverage and quality
- Collaborate with QA and porting engineering to maintain consistency, testability, and portability across products
- Provide expert-level guidance and leadership on product and engineering strategy
Requirements
- BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in software architecture design and implementation
- Strong unit testing practices and ability to plan and execute testing strategies
- Experience collaborating with QA and cross-functional engineering teams
- Ability to serve as a primary consultant on large, organization-impacting projects
