Product Architect Software Engineering | Senior-Level | Remote/Hybrid

About the Role

We’re seeking a Product Architect to help shape and evolve our software architecture for commercial and end-user applications. In this senior role, you’ll analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable, testable software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for production applications
• Specify, design, and implement major changes to existing software architecture
• Create new architecture for a moderate-size product or a key portion of a larger platform
• Write code and complete programming tasks with a focus on quality and maintainability
• Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans
• Review integration and regression test plans created by QA to ensure coverage and alignment
• Collaborate with QA and porting engineering to maintain consistency, testability, and portability across products
• Serve as an expert consultant on large projects impacting long-term organizational goals

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing software architecture
• Proficiency in unit testing practices and test planning
• Experience reviewing and improving integration/regression test approaches
• Ability to lead technical direction and provide strategic guidance on new products and processes
