Product Counsel (Legal) — Hybrid/Onsite

We’re looking for a Product Counsel to support product and platform initiatives across the data infrastructure lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Advise on product, platform, and customer-facing legal considerations across the lifecycle of data movement and analytics engineering.
• Partner with product, engineering, and operations to evaluate risks and shape practical, business-friendly solutions.
• Review and negotiate key commercial and customer agreements, including terms related to data, services, and support.
• Provide guidance on compliance and trust-related topics that impact how teams use our technology.
• Support internal stakeholders with contract strategy, playbooks, and issue-spotting to improve scalability.

Requirements

• J.D. and active legal experience supporting technology or SaaS products.
• Strong contract review and negotiation skills, with comfort balancing legal risk and product velocity.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, sales, and customer success).
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate legal concepts into actionable guidance.
• Familiarity with data-related agreements and privacy/security concepts is a plus.
