About the Role
Metrea is seeking a Program Manager for Air-to-Air Refueling (PMAARF) to help deliver mission-ready capabilities for national security partners. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams and support end-to-end program execution, ensuring delivery aligns with operational needs and evolving requirements.
Responsibilities
- Own program planning and execution across milestones, schedules, and deliverables
- Coordinate stakeholders across support and core groups to remove blockers and keep work on track
- Track program health (scope, cost, schedule, and risks) and communicate status to leadership
- Support planning for operations, platform readiness, and integration efforts
- Drive continuous improvement in processes to improve delivery speed and reliability
- Ensure alignment with relevant legal, compliance, and engagement requirements
Requirements
- Experience managing complex programs in defense, aerospace, or related mission environments
- Strong ability to manage schedules, risks, and cross-functional dependencies
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for leadership and stakeholder audiences
- Working knowledge of program execution practices (e.g., milestone planning, reporting, and governance)
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
