About the Role
Rocketship Public Schools is seeking a Program Specialist to support Inclusive Special Education (ISE) initiatives. Based in Washington, DC, this role reports to the Regional Director of Inclusive Special Education and helps advance high-quality services for students through strategic program support and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of inclusive special education program strategies across the region
- Partner with school leaders and educators to strengthen implementation of ISE practices
- Assist with program planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts
- Contribute to communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and families
- Help ensure compliance-aligned processes and effective use of resources
Requirements
- Experience supporting special education or inclusive education programming (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered mindset
- Comfort working with educators, leaders, and families in a school-based environment
