About the Role
Turner Construction is seeking a Project Safety Manager to support safe, compliant jobsite operations across commercial construction projects. In this role, you’ll help protect people, strengthen safety culture, and ensure projects meet applicable safety standards—while contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day jobsite safety activities to support a proactive safety culture
- Monitor compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct jobsite observations, audits, and inspections, and drive corrective actions
- Partner with project teams to identify hazards and implement effective mitigation plans
- Support incident/near-miss response, reporting, and root-cause follow-up
- Assist with safety training coordination and documentation for project needs
Requirements
- Experience in construction safety management or a related safety role
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety best practices
- Ability to communicate clearly with field teams and leadership
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, active construction environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
