About the Role
FWG Solutions is seeking a Propulsion Mechanic to support the LCAC 100 Program on base. In this role, you’ll help ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of gas turbine and propulsion systems supporting the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on gas turbine and propulsion-related systems
- Support operational readiness by troubleshooting propulsion system issues
- Assist with scheduled maintenance activities and corrective actions as needed
- Follow established procedures and safety requirements while working on propulsion equipment
Requirements
- Hands-on experience maintaining or repairing propulsion systems and/or gas turbine equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and maintenance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Willingness to work onsite in support of program operations
