About the Role
Blackbird Health is excited to welcome a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) into our Residency Program in Frederick, Maryland. You’ll join a clinician-founded, values-driven team focused on improving pediatric mental health care through a whole-child approach.
Blackbird provides virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, with continued growth into new markets in 2026. This residency is designed to support your development while you help children and families access compassionate, evidence-informed care.
Responsibilities
- Participate in supervised clinical training and learning experiences as part of the residency program
- Support the delivery of pediatric mental health services for children and families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the root causes of behavioral and emotional challenges
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Current licensure and/or eligibility to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Maryland
- Strong commitment to pediatric mental health and family-centered care
- Ability to learn in a collaborative environment and follow clinical supervision and program guidance
- Comfort working with both clinical and care-coordination workflows
