Purchasing Manager (Procurement & Vendor Management) | Senior | Hybrid

About the Role

Spring Oak Management is looking for a hands-on Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategy, vendor management, and purchasing operations across multiple locations. This senior role combines day-to-day purchasing oversight with contract review, bid coordination, and procurement reporting.

A key focus will be managing our procurement software (On Care / Procurement Partners), including purchase approval workflows, vendor catalogs, item setup, pricing, and system reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and purchase approvals across multiple sites
• Manage vendor pricing, catalogs, bids, and procurement reporting
• Support contract reviews and lead negotiations with vendors
• Maintain market baskets and support pricing/availability decisions
• Administer and optimize procurement software (workflows, catalogs, item setup, and reporting)
• Ensure procurement processes and documentation are accurate and audit-ready
• Partner with operations to align purchasing with day-to-day needs

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain leadership
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
• Experience with procurement systems or the ability to own software workflows end-to-end
• Analytical mindset with comfort using reports to drive decisions
• Background in dietary, food service, equipment, or operational purchasing is highly preferred
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, or multi-site operations is a plus
• Strong organization and attention to detail
