About the Role
Directio is seeking a QA Engineer to support a U.S. client specializing in IT consulting and modernization for the energy and utilities sector. In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality of advanced solutions that improve utility efficiency, reliability, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and QA documentation
- Validate functionality across Customer Information Systems and related utility platforms
- Identify defects, track issues, and collaborate with development teams to drive fixes
- Support regression testing and verification for modernization and transformation releases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing coverage
Requirements
- Experience as a QA Engineer with strong test design and execution skills
- Knowledge of Oracle Utilities or experience testing Oracle Utilities solutions
- Proficiency with common QA practices (e.g., regression testing, defect reporting, test documentation)
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
