About the Role
The New York Times is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure quality across our digital products. You’ll partner with software engineers, DevOps, product managers, and designers to support testing for our web, mobile, and API platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality across web, mobile, and API experiences
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and supporting automation where appropriate
- Support release readiness by identifying risks, validating fixes, and reporting results clearly
- Work with engineers to understand requirements and translate them into effective quality checks
Requirements
- Experience with QA practices for web, mobile, and/or API products
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate findings effectively
- Comfort working in a collaborative, engineering-driven environment
