As a Quality Engineer, you will support Aftermarket and OE value streams by reviewing and approving objective evidence for examination, inspection, and test results to ensure conformance with applicable codes, Hayward Tyler standards, and customer purchase order requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve objective evidence for inspection and test outcomes for compliance with relevant codes, internal standards, and customer requirements
- Compile Hayward Tyler certification documentation and release materials for further processing or shipment based on required approvals
- Identify quality trends and help make underlying problems visible through structured quality review
- Support determinations on material conformance/nonconformance and recommend corrective actions
- Help maintain a quality system mindset where QA personnel can stop shipment or designate material as nonconforming when needed
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a highly organized working style
- Experience reviewing inspection, examination, and test results for compliance
- Familiarity with certification documentation and approval workflows
- Ability to interpret requirements tied to codes, internal standards, and customer purchase orders
