About the Role
Broadcom’s Brocade Switch and Networking (BSN) team is looking for a skilled Software QA Test Engineer to test and verify SAN-based network solutions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help ensure software quality for Brocade storage area network technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute software test plans for SAN and networking solutions
- Create and maintain automated and manual test cases to validate functionality
- Verify releases by running test suites, analyzing results, and reporting defects
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality
- Document test outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
Requirements
- Experience with software testing for networking or storage-related systems
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect reporting
- Proficiency with test automation practices and scripting (as applicable)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced R&D environment
- 100% on-site attendance required in Broomfield, Colorado
