About the Role
Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN nights in our Behavioral Health Unit. This role supports a 33-bed unit and helps deliver compassionate, high-quality care to the individuals and families in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting
- Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with the care team to support treatment goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as needed
Requirements
- Current RN licensure
- Experience or comfort working in behavioral health is preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused mindset
- PRN availability “as needed” based on staffing needs
