About the Role
As a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the CCU, you’ll deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating and integrating nursing services using the nursing process. You’ll also help ensure care is provided in line with safety standards, risk management practices, quality improvement, and infection control requirements.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and be prepared to assume patient care responsibilities.
- Participate in meetings and share relevant information with the care team.
- Follow corporate, regional, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures consistently.
- Provide professional, courteous support to patients, families, physicians, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control procedures at all times.
- Support environmental care standards to help maintain a safe care setting.
Requirements
- Active RN licensure in Florida.
- Experience or comfort working in a critical care setting (CCU/ICU preferred).
- Strong understanding of nursing process, patient safety, and risk management.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
