About the Role
Atlantic Visiting Nurse is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-focused care in the community. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, monitor patient health, document care accurately, and support treatment plans for patients with a variety of health needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain complete, accurate healthcare records, reports, and documentation
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions
- Assess patient symptoms and report changes in condition to the care team
- Record vital signs and other relevant medical information
- Evaluate and implement nursing care plans in partnership with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on care plans, medications, and health management
- Prescribe or recommend assistive medical devices and related treatments as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to provide safe, reliable patient care and maintain thorough documentation
