About the Role
Vista Specialty Hospital is looking for a Rehabilitation Technician to support patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. In this per diem role, you’ll assist the rehabilitation team while patients work toward recovery from serious injuries, illnesses, or complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive care to patients as part of their rehabilitation plan under licensed therapists
- Assist physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals with patient activities
- Help maintain a safe, supportive environment that supports patient progress
- Support day-to-day rehabilitation needs in a hospital LTAC setting
Requirements
- Experience or training related to rehabilitation support or therapy assistance
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of licensed therapy professionals
- Strong attention to patient safety and comfort
- Comfort working in a long-term acute care hospital environment
