About the Role
Join the Ecological Approaches to Social Emotional Learning (EASEL) Lab, led by Professor Stephanie M. Jones, as a full-time Research Assistant within the Human Development and Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The EASEL Lab studies how high-quality social and emotional interventions influence outcomes for children, youth, educators, families, and communities, with research that informs practice and policy.
Responsibilities
- Support data analysis for EASEL Lab research-practice partnership projects
- Create clear data visualizations to communicate findings
- Assist with measurement and related research tasks
- Contribute to writing and publication activities
- Help coordinate and support ongoing studies involving school-based educators in Ukraine, afterschool staff in Nebraska, and Special Olympics partners
Requirements
- Strong interest in education research and social-emotional learning
- Experience working with research datasets and supporting analysis
- Ability to support measurement tasks and contribute to written materials
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to collaborate with a research team
