About the Role
Vista Specialty Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT, CRT, or RCP) to deliver safe, competent respiratory care as ordered by a physician. In this full-time night shift role, you’ll support patients who require close monitoring and skilled respiratory interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and medications according to physician orders
- Monitor mechanical ventilation and assess patient response to therapy
- Perform patient assessments and document clinical findings
- Review relevant lab work and hemodynamic monitoring information to support care decisions
- Track patient status and communicate changes to the care team
- Participate in patient education, teaching, and staff training as needed
Requirements
- Valid RRT, CRT, or RCP credential
- Experience and comfort monitoring mechanical ventilation
- Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and patient assessment
- Ability to review blood work and integrate results into respiratory care
- Commitment to safe, patient-centered care
