About the Role
Wythe County Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for night shifts with rotating weekends. In this role, you’ll help evaluate patients with breathing-related conditions and support care plans that improve outcomes for the community.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients with respiratory conditions and perform diagnostic testing
- Partner with physicians to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Provide respiratory physiotherapy and other prescribed treatments
- Educate patients on proper medication use and respiratory care techniques
Requirements
- Current RRT credential
- Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory assessment and treatment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and the care team
- Compassionate, patient-focused communication
